AC Milan 1 Actual Betis 2: Andre Silva opens account in defeat

Andre Silva scored his first AC Milan aim but he could not avert his side from going down a last-gasp 2-1 defeat against True Betis in an entertaining friendly.
Forward Silva, signed from Porto, netted from the penalty spot with 15 minutes left on the match in Catania, obtaining earlier had a purpose ruled out by a VAR critique and been denied by some inspired goalkeeping from Dani Gimenez.
His intervention from 12 yards came eight minutes immediately after Betis substitute Fabian had scored with a magnificent strike.
But Betis won it within the last minute when VAR once more worked in their favour, penalising Hakan Calhanoglu to get a handball that permitted substitute Antonio Sanabria to score in the spot.
Milan have currently played two competitive matches this season within the Europa League and can hope to bounce back after they face Shkendija within the play-off round subsequent week.
Betis, meanwhile, will follow this match with a game against Milan's city rivals Inter on Saturday as they continue to prepare for the new LaLiga season, which they're going to open using a daunting away match against Barcelona on August 20.
